Pergola Shade Fabrics
If you already have a pergola, the most attractive way to add shade is a woven or wave-form fabric system. Strips of fabric are threaded between the beams or hang in waves below them, letting air circulate freely and giving that unmistakable Cretan summer-courtyard look.
We make every system to the dimensions of your pergola, in plain or striped acrylic fabric, with seams and reinforcements that stand up to the sun and the meltemi winds. For full rain protection, look at a retractable pergola awning instead.

What is the difference between woven and wave-form systems?
In a woven system the fabric strips are threaded over and under the pergola beams. In a wave-form system the fabric hangs in curves between the beams or from cables. Both are breathable — the choice is mainly aesthetic.
Do they keep the rain off?
Woven and wave-form systems are designed for shade. For rain protection we recommend a retractable pergola awning with waterproof fabric and a pitch that drains the water away.
Can you build the pergola as well?
We work with fabricators for new aluminium or timber pergolas, so we can deliver the whole project.
